A proud Wambaya/Warrumungu woman, Lynette trained as a dancer and actor at the Aboriginal Dance Theatre and National Institute of Dramatic Art and was a dancer in the second touring production of Bran Nue Dae.

Lynette then swapped the footlights of the theatre for the Barkley tablelands of Tennant Creek to relearn language, law and responsibility.

Handle With Care is shaping up to be a frank and heartfelt solo work that will amalgamate the family tradition of the country with the flash style of dance and drama from the city.
