Board of Management 2007-2008
A new Board of Management was elected at the Annual General Meeting on 19 April 2008:
Pam Pemberton, Chair. Pam was Deputy Chair in the last Board. She is also our Public Officer. Pam recently retired from a senior position in the Northern Territory Government (in Indigenous Policy Development). She also has rich experience and a continuing interest in community arts, specifically theatre, in Australia and overseas.
Ali Mills, Deputy Chair. Ali is a well-known Darwin performer and community artist. She was Project Officer for Indigenous Performing Arts Development in 2007.
Jack Tinapple, Secretary. Jack is with NEO and was a member of the previous Board.
Jocelyn Nathanael-Walters, Treasurer. Jocelyn is a CPA and has been helping improve our accounting and bookkeeping systems.
Nic Borgese, Member. Nic Borgese is a community development worker with Melaleuca Refugee Centre, and an experienced photographer.
Fezile Mpehle, Member. Fezile is the President of the Africa Australia Friendship Association and has worked with BMCA to promote arts among African communities in Darwin.
Bong Ramilo, Executive Officer, is an ex-officio Board member.
Two vacancies remain on the Board, which will be filled by the Board shortly. The Staff Representative will be elected by Staff at its next meeting.

Brown's Mart Reserve is managed by BMCA for the Brown's Mart Trustees, who are entrusted by Government with the responsibility to ensure that the Reserve benefits the community.
