Programs
Resource and Servicing Activities are a major service Brown's Mart provides to Northern Territory artists and organisations, as well as to interstate counterparts.
Major Performance/Presentation Seasons plus the Annual Performance Events constitute a significant annual program drawing audiences exceeding 14,000 (plus walk-throughs or contacts via other events). We provide the major artist opportunity/audience connection with NT creativity.
Collaborations/developments/partnerships often feed ultimately into the presentation & performance programs, but are more dependent on community energy and needs.
An important area of collaboration is with local agencies and interstate companies/artists for presentations eg the experience in developing jazz events and workshops with Henk van Leeuwin.
Although community cultural development practice is at the core of Brown's Mart's business, in past years there has been less generation of activity with community cultural development at the forefront. Since 2005 our work has sought to reaffirm and strengthen the community cultural development aspects of our program.
Core projects and activity areas for 2007 include:-
Resource & Servicing Activities
Darwin Fringe Festival
Fist Full of Films
Bamboo Lounge
Darwin Poetry Cup
Multicultural Arts activities & events
Collaborations/Developments/Partnerships

Brown's Mart Reserve is managed by BMCA for the Brown's Mart Trustees, who are entrusted by Government with the responsibility to ensure that the Reserve benefits the community.
